Our History
Filp’s history dates back to the late 19th century, specifically to 1888, when the company began bringing together and synergizing various local businesses to transform tool production—especially engineering files—from an artisanal to an industrial scale. At the time, the file was the queen of every workshop, and its production represented a highly important market.
